I saw this monstrosity the other day while driving to work.  I take a back road to the office (in King of Prussia) that is on the same road as the Upper Merion Township Vehicle Maintenance depot.  The above mentioned TANK was seen getting some work done.  Here is a link to the article (with photo!)

Some questions:

1. Why does UM/KOP need a friggin’ tank to conduct normal police business?
2. Why does Norristown NOT have a tank to conduct normal police business?  Seems they need one more then UM.
3. I always thought it must be pretty difficult to rob a bank?  Nope.  Your everyday crack-head can do it multiple times over the course of about 2 weeks.
4. Is anyone going to ever stay in the Motel 6 in KOP?  Let’s see…October 2004 — Murder in the Hotel and now this.  No thanks..
5. Is any more proof needed that the KOP Mall is the bread and butter of Upper Merion?  Little to no taxes, huge police/fire service and various public works projects.  All from that wonderland known as the Court and Plaza.  God bless consumerism.
