I seem to get more and more interesting bits about Conshohocken in my email everyday.  I received this one today which caught my eye...

I would love to know what shop is actually For Sale in this listing.  It does not give a business name or location, but it brings up an interesting thought.  I wonder if this is an early casualty in the downturn in local economy.  If people are losing jobs or worried about losing their job, then its conceivable that one of the first ways to save some cash is to start bringing your lunch.  Its possible that this sandwich shop is beginning to suffer.

This was obviously not a large shop and a fairly small asking price of $90K on $130K in revenue is a bit stiff, but I would love to know what shop this is.  I was thinking it may be inside on the Tower Bridge complexes but it does note it is on the “main thoroughfare”.

In any case, interesting peek into the buying and selling of a business.
