One of my favorite restaurants in the area to grab a quick bite is From the Boot in Lafayette Hill. They have great pizza, tasty mains and probably the best bruschetta I have ever had. My wife and I will have an order of bruschetta and a pizza for a very pleasant meal — all for under $30. Plus, its a BYOB.
I’m pleased to learn that FtB will be opening another restaurant in Amber by midsummer.
Also, I’ll give up this space to provide From the Boot Catering a plug. I used them for my wedding “this is not a rehearsal dinner” dinner back in August and I was very pleased. Fresh, hot and tasty meals delivered to my door that everyone raved about. Can’t go wrong!
Oh mama! That’s fantastic news! My wife and I just moved from Conshohocken to Springhouse last weekend and we were lamenting the fact that The Boot is now a 20 minute drive instead of 5. The only bummer is that the article states that it will have an 18-20 seat bar. Does that mean the new location won’t be BYO?
I’m guessing no on the BYOB. Is they were smart, they would have a minimum corkage fee. But, who ever said restaurant owners were smart?
