Andy’s Diner & Pub

March 8th, 2010 · 8 Comments · Food & Drink

Looks like there is an opening date for Andy’s Diner & Pub, the former H.I. Rib & Co. on Ridge Pike — and it’s today!

By the look of it, they put some work into the place after H.I went under and its going to be open 24 hours…that’s exciting!  Well, a diner that is in Conshohocken and is not the 401 Diner is good news in my book.  I don’t think I’ll ever be back in the 401 — too many bad meals.

My boyfriend and I went to the diner, saturday around 12:30, a short wait to get seated, a very long wait for the food. Then mistakes galore and if that’s not enough, I ordered the banana/walnut
pancakes, very dry , no flavor.Ok newly open and all the kinks have to be straightened out but, messing up pancakes…at a diner….Not sure we’ll go back….

This may have been the worst dining ever the service was terrible the prices were high and the food was terrible. The servers did not know the menu my eggs came one at a time my ham may have been 3 days old, cold totst not butterd and cold butter patties left with them. The waiter could not have cared less about any of this

I visited with my wife and two kids the Wed after they opened. Our waiter was personable and service was pretty good. I think they opened a little too soon, before everyone was trained properly and they had enough food. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which turned out to be pretty weird. Chicken, mayo, and a little hot sauce (not wing sauce) sprinked in. It was busy and the employees were running around visibly sweating. Perhaps they should have limited the menu for the first week.

Andys Diner has been open now for 6 weeks and everything is running alot better. The late night service is fast and the food comes out fast and hot and just hits the spot . Come and see for yourself , you will be glad you did ! Late night at Andys Diner And Pub , They are open all night and every night….. PEACE

Awful! Everything from the cigarette butts all over and around the tables outside, (first impressions matter),to the clueless servers ,to the terrible food. The window we were sitting under was filthy. I ordered egg salad and got tuna. I did not send it back since we had waited so long for it to come. It was dry and tasteless.I wont go back. Would rather go to the 401 which I think has improved some .Shame we dont have a really great diner.

The place has come a long way since they opened
the chicken franse is amazing, and huge, couldnot finish it. My waitress was friendly and attentative. The salad bar has more than enough choices, and the liquor is a Bonus for me.

Decided to go to Andy’s Diner for dinner. Not a good experience – regretted going there, even with their reasonable prices. Very disappointed with this newly opened restaurant. Looked great from the outside, but average food, unfriendly and slow service, and a flea or a fruit fly buzzing over our food. Will not be returning.
